A HOMEOWNERS package policy with Rockingham protects you against loss to your HOME, RELATED STRUCTURES, and PERSONAL BELONGINGS.

It also provides ADDITIONAL LIVING COSTS for a period of time should your home become uninhabitable due to a fire or other covered loss. PERSONAL LIABILITY is another important feature of homeowners insurance that protects your assets if someone is injured on your property.

To customize your policy to meet your individual needs, you can select from several options:

Equipment Breakdown Coverage

If it uses electricity, it's most likely subject to equipment breakdown. We offer this additional coverage at a very reasonable cost. Items covered include home security systems, appliances, computers and electronics, swimming pools, furnaces, water heaters, and air conditioning systems.

You also have the GREEN option at no additional cost. This feature provides coverage for those additional costs incurred in replacing covered property with equipment that is better for the environment, safer and more efficient than the original damaged property. We even cover the cost to hire an accredited green consultant to assit in the design and reconstruction.

The following Discounts & Credits may also apply:

Age of Home Discount.  If you own a newer home, you receive a reduced premium for up to 15 years.

Multi-Policy Discount. If we insure your Home and your Auto you receive a discount on both policies!

Home Safety Credits.  If you have fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and dead bolt locks on all outside doors you receive an additional premium discount.

Central Station Alarms.  You receive a discount on your premium if you have a central station monitored burglar or fire alam.

Loss History Credit.  If you have been loss free for at least three years while being continuously insured with a Homeowners policy you receive a credit on your premium.
