A M Best Rating Upgrade

We are pleased to announce that A.M. Best Co. recently upgraded the financial strength rating of Rockingham Casualty Company to A (Excellent) from A- (Excellent).

Rockingham Casualty is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockingham Mutual, also rated A (Excellent), and together they form Rockingham Group. Both Rockingham Casualty and Rockingham Mutual are domiciled in Harrisonburg, VA.

Rockingham Casualty’s ratings also reflect its strong levels of risk-adjusted capitalization and operating performance, in addition to the product and distribution synergies it brings to the group.
